Blind Cricket Training Camp

From May 4 to May 8, 2025, a Blind Cricket Training Camp was successfully conducted with the participation of 18 visually impaired players from across Nepal — from Sunsari in the east to Kailali in the far west. Both male and female players participated in this inclusive and empowering training program.

The camp was led and assisted by Prakash Jayarmaiah, a former player of the Indian National Blind Cricket Team/coach, whose guidance played a key role in enhancing the batting and bowling skills of the participants. This training has been an important step in building the skills, confidence, and sportsmanship of blind cricketers in Nepal.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the Cricket Association for the Blind in India (CABI) for their support in making this camp possible.
