Baseline Study – “Mainstreaming Inclusive Sports in Nepal”

Background
CAB Nepal is implementing the project “Mainstreaming Inclusive Sports in Nepal” to promote equitable participation of children and youth with disabilities in sports through inclusive governance, institutional strengthening, grassroots development, and improved access to disability sports.
CAB Nepal invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) from qualified consultants or consulting firms to conduct a Baseline Study for the project.
Objective
To establish baseline values for project outcome and output indicators and assess the current status of inclusive sports governance, participation, institutional capacity, infrastructure accessibility, and media visibility.
Scope of Work
- Coverage: 7 provinces and 11 municipalities (work to be done some in physical presence and some virtually)
- Target groups: Children and youth with disabilities (including women and girls), disability sports organizations, schools, coaches, government officials, and media
- Methodology: Mixed methods (desk review, surveys, FGDs, KIIs, observation)
Key Deliverables
- Inception note and data collection tools
- Draft and final baseline report
- Presentation of findings to CAB Nepal
Duration
15 days from contract signing.
Eligibility
- Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in baseline studies, research, or MEL
- Experience in disability inclusion and/or sports development
- Strong analytical and report-writing skills
