Making the right real with cricketers with and without blindness.

27th July, Kathmandu.Doesn’t matter what types of physical diversity an individual have but the players are always the icons of a nation. However, the players with disabilities always face discrimination in accessing to national recognition, services and benefits. Even, the mainstream players haven’t heard about the players with different physical diversity playing the same sports. Hence, in order to reduce this gap of unfamiliarity and build a new bond of friendship between the women cricketers with and without blindness, CAB, Nepal in partnership with Korean Disability and Development Institute organized a social interaction and players felicitation programs on 27th July, 2022.The captains of both the teams Ms. Bhagwati Bhattarai and Ms. Rubina Chettri while exchanging the token of friendship amongst each other shared their experience of meeting the cricketers with two different physical identities. All other players were handed over the gift vouchers by the different distinguished guests present in the ceremony. These players also exchanged the packet of gift amongst each other’s. Mr. Sun Ho Kim, the Director for strategic planning at Korean Disability and Development Institute also handed over the gift packets to the winners of Jyoti K.C talent award. While addressing the ceremony, he shared the initiative that KODDI has been doing in Asia and Pacific to implement the unique project through their make the right real project.  Present in the  the ceremony pouch.
