Background
CAB Nepal is working to promote inclusive sports in Nepal by strengthening systems, capacity, and access for persons with disabilities. As part of this effort, the organization aims to develop structured and practical coaching resources that support individualized athlete development across different types of disability sports.
CAB Nepal invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) from qualified consultants or consulting firms to develop Individualized Coaching Plans (ICP) for athletes with disabilities.
Objective
To develop Individualized Coaching Plan (ICP) framework that integrates practical coaching methodologies with adaptable individualized planning tools applicable across different disability sports and age groups.
Scope of Work
The selected consultant/firm will be responsible for:
- Development of a Individualized Coaching Plan (ICP) framework for disability sports
- Designing practical and adaptable individualized coaching plan templates for athletes with different types of disabilities
- Incorporating:
- Athlete-specific planning components (goal setting, skill assessment, training progression, adaptations)
- Flexibility to customize based on different sports disciplines
- Ensuring the framework is applicable across all disability categories and age groups
- Conducting consultations with key stakeholders including:
- Coaches and trainers
- Athletes with disabilities
- Disability sports organizations
- Schools and relevant stakeholders
- Ensuring the ICP tools are user-friendly, practical, and adaptable for coaches, trainers, and teachers
Terms of Reference (ToR)
The consultant/firm will be responsible for developing an Individualized Coaching Plan (ICP) framework for disability sports, with a strong focus on practical and usable planning tools for athletes. The assignment will involve desk review of existing materials, consultation with relevant stakeholders, and development of adaptable templates suitable for coaches, trainers, and teachers. The consultant will ensure the ICP framework reflects international best practices while being contextualized to Nepal and will incorporate feedback from stakeholders to finalize the document.
Key Deliverables
- Draft Individualized Coaching Plan (ICP) framework and templates
- Sample individualized coaching plans for different types of disabilities with flexibility of customization.
- Participate in stakeholder consultation and validation process
- Final ICP framework and templates incorporating feedback from validation
Duration
30 days from the date of contract signing
Eligibility
- Experienced in sports development, curriculum development, or related fields
- Experienced in disability inclusion and disability sports
- Strong understanding of individualized coaching and athlete development
- Excellent analytical and writing skills

Payment Terms
