On 8th and 9th September, CAB conducted capacity development training to representatives of 13 SHGs of the cricket of the blind at Hotel Narayani of Navalpur District. In the training facilitated by Mr. Khimraj Sapkota, the contents of the training were local resource management, more on proposal writing, effective documentation and presentation skills. Though resource management and proposal writing were discussed in the last two trainings but were also incorporated in this training on the basis of demand by the participants. In order to make the participants understand the contents effectively, both practical and theoretical methods were adopted while facilitating the trainings.
The participants were subjected to Group discussion, practical exercise, group and individual presentation over the given topics, such as project action planning, justification and need analysis and identifying local resources followed by a small presentation by selected participants to test their presentation skills before the larger audience. The training was attended by men and women with visual disabilities of the respective SHGs round the country.
