CAB, Nepal faces several obstacles that are hampering the smooth development of blind cricket in Nepal. A lack of awareness among parents, children and teachers prevents blind children and youths from attending cricket grounds. A shortage of funds from national and international donors puts the future of CAB, Nepal in doubt. A dearth of cricket grounds, the fact that association does not have an office building of its own, the absence of a disabled sports policy at the national level and the difficulty in obtaining audible cricket balls have become factors impeding the further development of the game.
